Product Testing & Claim Verification Policy

See how FLUX supports product, performance, compatibility, comparison, and certification claims with appropriate evidence and context.

FLUX publishes specifications, performance information, compatibility guidance, comparisons, and other product claims to help customers make informed decisions.

The level of review and evidence depends on the specificity, context, and potential impact of each claim.

Evidence used

Depending on the claim, supporting evidence may include:

  • Current engineering records or official product documentation.
  • Internal testing or demonstrations.
  • Credible third-party tests, standards, certificates, or reports.
  • Product usage data, support experience, or documented customer cases.

Testimonials and case studies describe particular experiences and are not presented as results every user will achieve. Estimates and projections are identified as such.

Testing conditions

Product performance may vary by model, configuration, material, settings, software or firmware version, environment, maintenance, and user experience. When these factors materially affect a published result, we provide the relevant test conditions, method, date, or limitations needed to interpret it.

A test result is not a guarantee of identical results unless expressly stated in an applicable warranty or agreement.

Comparisons and certification claims

Comparisons should use relevant, reasonably comparable products and measurable criteria. We avoid absolute or universal claims unless the available evidence supports them.

Claims concerning certification, compliance, or testing standards are limited to the applicable product, model, market, and scope. Certification wording does not extend beyond the supporting documentation.

Independence and disclosure

FLUX designs and sells the products featured on this site. Testing performed by FLUX is internal testing and is not described as independent. Relevant paid, sponsored, partner, customer, or equipment relationships are disclosed when they could affect interpretation.

Review and updates

Material claims are reviewed by personnel suited to the subject, which may include product, engineering, compliance, support, or content teams. We reassess a claim when a relevant product, software version, test method, standard, or supporting fact changes materially.

Confirmed errors are handled under our Corrections Policy. Questions about a specific claim should include the relevant page URL and supporting details.
